Franchise Information

Franchise Contract and Expectation Highlights

The Franchise Agreement is comprehensive, but we wanted to provide you with an overview of some of its key provisions before you review the full document. Our goal is to help you better understand what we expect from our franchisees and, just as importantly, what you can expect from us as your franchisor.

  • Territories

    • Territories are sold on a state by state basis, inclusive of all areas within the state boundaries
    • Franchisees will be responsible for all areas within the state and must have repair personnel that can respond to the needs of any area within 7 days of a hail event.
  • Job Description

    • This job requires the Franchisee to repair individual hail strikes to an asphalt roof.
    • The process is very strongly patent protected through the U,S. Patent Office and thoroughly tested at Haag Engineering.
    • A 2 man crew is optimal for each job and the bulk of the jobs can be completed within 4 hours, though some jobs may be completed in 2 hours, while others will take 7.  The payment is the same on all jobs.
    • All materials will be purchased from the Franchisor from the corporate warehouse.  The cost of materials per job will average $20.00
  • Franchise Cost

    • The franchise cost per territory is $300,000. for  any territory where Planet Safe Partners has established a contractual arrangement with the insurance providers, resulting in a minimum job count of 10,000 jobs per annum.
    • Contractors that have been approved for a Planet Safe Roof Repair franchise may place a hold on any available territory where Planet Safe Partners has not yet met the minimum job count of 10,000 jobs per annum.  The cost of a hold is set at $40,000.  The balance of the franchise cost ($260,000.), shall be payable when the 10,000 job threshold has been reached.
